ladydrae asked:
What kind of glue would you use to glue rhinestones to metal? The glue must be long lasting, and must not be rubbery (I don’t want the rhinestones popping off). This is for a jewlery item, so the glue needs to dry clear.

Any ideas?
Any other methods to attach them?

Elmers Carpenters Glue. Works like a charm.
if you have a Michaels (craft store) near you there is this industrial strength glue that can glue whatever objects to pretty much any surface, it will have a strong odor so you’ll need to have good ventilation-but it works great!
also, it is a gray tube and says industrial strength on it. it should also be at walmart in the arts & crafts section
Gorilla glue
gorilla glue. you’ll never lose them!
silicon gel, you get from the hardware store. if you want to make the glue part of the design, you can get it in colores that match what you’re doing.
I’ve never had any problem with Goop jewelry glue. You should also check out Loctite products. They offer several glues that will work.
